10 Days trip - second stop Macau

Arriving at the small little airport of Macau and instantly we feel the cold! hahaha... We definitely did not expect it to be this cold and surely not prepared for it. But we've t stand outside there waiting for my friend's house agent to come and get us. He came with two other ppl in the car and just basically drove us all the way to the apartment (without striking any conversation with us), drop us at the apartment, show us which unit - in a haste!! Goodness me!

We decided to just take a cab to the Fisherman's Wharf. The thing is, nobody knows what's that in Cantonese and we had quite a hard time trying to figure out what is it in Cantonese. Good thing the security guard was helpful in his limited English!

We really too tired to think and don't know what to eat. ended up in a japanese restaurant! haha.. all the way there.

menu is all in chinese characters. poor us!

first thing first, we 'setup' the bed for sleep.. kinda.
it's an empty apartment ... totally ... empty...

We had to wash our clothes. there was this washing machine.. after washed, it's supposed to spin all the way till try but it spins halfway then add more water in! ahahahha.. our clothes were being washed for a lot of rounds until we finally decided to take it our ourselves and just drape it over everywhere.

yah.. this washing machine!

whenever we are at home, we put this chair there at the main door.. hopefully the loud grating on the floor will wake us up!

My two pairs of travelling footwear - MM shoes and a pair of flip flops does the job very well!

Saw this packet of mamee on the first night at Macau and terus buy saja! hahaha..

The apartment we stayed at. At first we felt that it's rather inconvenient but once we get the hang of the local transportation, we got around pretty well. best part is of course no need to pay for this lah!

The mini bus that took us to the beach!

Everyone queueing to eat at the Fernando's. Me n Trish were the lazy two that took a look at the queue, asked ourselves if we are hungry or not, then left the queue to buy coffee from the next door sundry shop! hahaha

Hac Sa Beach!

At the beach, there are these stalls selling those bbq stuffs calling out to us. And the Chu Chai Bau (pork burger) ... so we tried. ok only lah. ramly better i think!

took this picture of her. I think it's very nice!

The famous portugese tart from Lord Stow's!!

We were standing outside queueing for table number and so we watch him prepare the tarts. I think we make him feel uncomfortable... hahaha

They don't just serve tarts. It's a cafe that serves really good food. Must try when you go there. Have lunch here!

After that, we went to this flea market. Carved our names into chops. Wanted to do this for a long time and finally spent the money. ahhaha..

the city is really so such a gamble city that even the souvenirs are of gambling nature!

ahh... this is one of the famous desserts at macau. a must try. not bad!

and all types of biscuits that ppl queuing to buy!

Walked down to the street to find the library so that we can go online!

yoghurt that trish tried. and the uncle let us use his phone to call local. it's free apparently.

walked pass and cant resist to take a picture of this! hahah

the famous gerbang!

too tired to go on, i dragged trisha into this small little shop to have dinner. the thing is.... they gave us a chinese menu. i insisted on having noodle and after much resistant from me, the shop keeper gave up and placed order for noodle for me.

i was sitting here waiting for trish to come back from her shooting expedition! she wanted to shoot the tower. i was older and more tired. so i wait for her here. this uncle came and shoot photo of the casinos.

this is inside the venetians. very nice place.

crossing the border to guangzhou. we discovered that there is free shuttle from casinos to the bus stations and airport. so good for us! hahaha... hopping on to one and another saves all the money.
