Gina-girl

This is the little girl that's tearing my apartment upside down... when i'm there, she'll stick to me like glue and when i eat, she'll open her mouth and when i stand there, she'll use me as a round-about! ahhahaha...

my fav game with her goes like this.. if i point to my mom she'll say 'ty' (short for aunty) and i'll point to myself and she'll say 'jiejie' and i'll point to her and she's say 'gi' (short for gina). the fun part comes when i point at her and then point at her again.. she'll give me this confused face for a 3 seconds before answering.. and then i'll point at her again! hahahaha...

this is how she sleeps. although now she wont use the diapers anymore.

her current biggest fear is 'lizard'! hahaha.. so whenever she's naughty, me and my mom wil threaten her with lizard!

Jay Chou Concert

It's a miracle. Me and Doreen planned to go to Jay Chou's concert but we forgot to buy ticket. By the time we remember, it was already sold out. left only the RM700 ticket at Rock Zone area which we were not willing to pay the price.

Although in reality and in actual facts, I have no way of getting tickets but I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to go to the concert. I've been praying for Jay Chou for the past 5 years or more and therefore, he's one of the artistes that's 'personal' and not just 'one of them'... i was secretly hoping to see what change was brought about.

so during the 7 days prayer and fasting at church in the beginning of the year, i fasted and when i pray, which was many times a day, i will add this petition to God to be able to go to the concert on top of the other more serious for the year! I think I kinda bugged God to let me go... ahhaha... and SUDDENLY (just like how Pr Tim says it..).... someone gave me two tickets to the concert!! I mean my friend knows that I wanted to go but I don't think he knows God was using him as the instrument to bless me. I was beyond happy, i was ecstatic, i was like a crazy woman for the rest of the day and week after I got the ticket! you should see me.. my jaw was tired cos the smile kept creeping up.. ahahaha..

it was aptly so that the the dance team was performing the song 'make way' that talks about how God can make a way when there seems to be no way (a production for the combined service on Sunday). I shared with the team on Saturday that this is how our God is and can be to us. The God that we serve is just like that! He can MAKE A WAY out of no way, out of nothing, and out of just wanting to bless us and see us in joy! He's not all out to take from us but all out to bless us. I shared with Trish that more than going to a concert, we should realise that we are walking in a miracle. Just like those ppl walking across when the red sea parted for them, i felt likewise.. all hindrances were parted so that i could go to the concert... the experience of walking in a miracle was just more overwhelming than the concert itself!! If you've never experienced God in this way, you should really start praying.

After I shared this experience at PC's discipleship, everyone was laughing and started telling me what they really really really want and asked me to pray for them! hahaha...

This is how the hall looks like before the concert starts...

I'm glad Trish went with me because we can sing his songs together, scream together and laugh together over and over again .. when our fav songs came on, when everyone else started screaming, we joined in too. There was this couple that was sitting next to me, the boyfriend was a fan but the girlfriend was not. So he screamed and sang by himself while the gf sitting next to him looking bored! I'm still REALLY glad Trish went.. ahhaha.. she took off early from her event, risked offending her boss, took a 4-hour bus ride from Kuantan, waited at the LRT station for an hour just to go to the concert with me and then took the 4-hour bus ride all the way back to Kuantan the next day! Thanks, girl!

from where we sat, Jay Chou was like maybe 15cm tall? hahaha.. but on the screen, he was huge!

Pr Steven did asked if God was not my God for the few hours i was in the jay chou as god concert.. ahahha.. he is so farnee lah.. i replied him that of course God is GOD but jay chou is just jay chou....

Everyone asked me how was the concert or the experience... i can only describe is as this... 'it was super high!! to have thousands of ppl singing with you is really really really more high. don't know why but sitting there being ONE of the thousands, singing the same words was like arghhhh.... the experience was really high and time flies so fast without us knowing especially when it's songs that we can sing together, it was super-crazy-nice-kind-of-feeling'.

Although I enjoyed the songs and the screaming without a care (cos everyone else was screaming too)... but one thing i was saddened was on the media. I honestly thought that he's accepted Christ a couple years back but the media during the concert was all-religion literally... there were vampire-ism, buddhism, hinduism, catholic-ism and all sorts of connotations that were not Godly or glorifying God (if he's really a Christian and in my opinion). I guess God wanted to show me a little glimpse so that i continue to pray for him! =)

and you know what? after the concert, the next day, i met two people in church that were connected to have tickets to the concert and could have given me tickets to the concert as well. God is telling me that He's prepared more than one way to make it able for me to go to the concert just because He can. He'd the answered prayer prepared all along. It was just a matter of Route A or Route B or Route C! Isn't He such an amazing God?! *SCREAM for God! =)
