OMG Facts!
"
It is impossible to commit suicide by holding your breath.
Eventually you have a reflex or a deep exhalation to get stagnant gasses out of your lungs such as carbon monoxide and nitrogen. Even if you can force yourself to overcome this reflex you would eventaully pass out from lack of oxygen to your brain. After passing out, your mth would open and your lungs would involuntarily begin to function again.

Not that i'm promoting suicide but just another amazing creation of God that works in such a unique thoughfult to the detail way that we would never thought of but He did. Just for you and me....

THE CAT'S DIARY:
Day 183 of my captivity...
My captors continued to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects.
They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal.
The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from clawing the furniture.
Tomorrow I may eat another house plant.
Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded.
Maybe I should try this at the top of the stairs.
In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors, I once again induced myself to vomit on their favourite chair - must try this on their bed.
Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body in an attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts.
They only cooed and condescended about what a good kitty cat I was.
This is not working according to plan.
There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary confinement throughout the event. However, I could hear the noise and smell the food. More important, I overheard that my confinement was due to my powers of inducing something called "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.
I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches.
The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit.
The bird, on the other hand, has got to be an informant. He speaks with them regularly, and I am certain he reports my every move. Due to his current placement in the metal room, his safety is assured.
But I can wait.
It's only a matter of time.

JOB AVAILABLE? - How to Recruit the Right Person for the Job
Put about 100 bricks in no particular order in a closed room with an open window.
Then send 2 or 3 candidates in the room and close the door. Leave them alone and come back afer 6 hours and then analyse the situation.
If they are counting bricks,
put them in the accounts department.
If they are recounting them,
put them in auditing.
If they have messed up the whole place with the bricks,
put them in engineering.
If they are arranging the bricks in some strange order,
put them in planning.
if they ae throwing the bricks at each other,
put them in operations.
If they are sleeping,
put them in reception.
If they have broken the bricks into pieces,
put them in information technology.
If thet are sitting idle,
put them in human resources.
If they say they have tried different combinations, yet not a brick has been moved,
put them in sales.
If they have already left for the day,
put them in marketing.
If they are staring out of the window,
put them in strategic planning.
And last but not least,
If they are talking to each other and not a single brick has been moved,
congratulate them and out them in the top management!
=)
two things
living is really not easy. it's actually rather hard. there are many grounds to make a stand, many battles to fight, many weight that can crush, many expectations to meet. it's an endless stress. hahaha... no matter how i try, it will never be good enough, finish or made easy. there is no such thing as silver spoon in my life journey.
...
the second thing that happened was yesterday. it's rather funny... at least for me.
i drove to my aunt's house to pick my aunt. my cousin sat down and then asked me, "now u do second hand car dealer is it?"
i was like, "huh??!! why?" baffled and surprised cos everyone knows i work in the church.
he replied, "cos u always come here with different car. these past few weeks aldy see u come with 4 different cars."
me shocked face and then burst out laughing. hahahahahaha....
what to do lah.. people with no car is like this lor...
1a.m. Dance team's version of CYW Kuching!
it's been a super packed weekend for me especially. but we made it through and we are back in one spirit. hahaha..
if u've not heard, the dance team, 6 of us, missed the flight!! ahahhaa... due to various reasons and mainly the jam at the road to airport caused by the overturned trailer! so we all had to buy another ticket to kuching, flying again the next morning at 7:25am.

at first, i was super pissed and could not believe that I missed the flight! never in my own personal history or record that i would ever do that. but it happened. hahaha... so no point crying over spilled milk, we called kaz to pick us up to go eat hokkien mee! and then head over to church to camp for a few hours and waking up 5am to go airport earlier this time.
i cant believe this! Alor Star-ian don't know wad's fried taufoo??? so we made them both tried one piece each and they cant bite it but swallow the whole piece!! hahahaa...

after everyone showered and fresh, we did a surprise farewell "party" for JASMINE YOW!Jasmine had been a dear friend + dancer in the time she's here. and her testimony had really touched my heart many a times. i known her since she was a kid (literally when she was still studying in high school and call me Sharon Jie Jie). and now she's all taller than me and going off to Adelaide to study. in the short one year she's here, she had touched many lives and boldly shared her life testimony and brought joy to all of us.

after all the excitements and laughter, we went to sleep so that we can wake up earlier in order not to miss our flight a second time! hahahaha... this is rachel sweeping the floor after our camp night.

and then i got injured during rehearsal. i stepped on jude's cable on the floor on stage. when i step on it, it rolled and somehow made me injured my knee. and after that, my knee was painful and my right hand turned numbed! i got a little panic. maybe i hit a nerve? the team prayed for me and the event intercessors prayed for me. it just got healed after that. the pain was gone and although i was cautious on stage, i didnt further injure it. rachel wrapped it up with yc's roller bandage - complete with a little candy at the top! so cute right? ahhaha... the art of a nurse!

and the trip would definitely NOT be complete without taking tons of pictures with nailin!!! she was supposed to be in costume and in position on stage with us but due to various factors, she decided to do it at the back, off stage rather than on stage with us! but still, she's part of the team... the part that says "i love kuching" ... hehe...
halfway while pc was make-up-ing in the same room with us, we requested for her to spare us 2.26 minutes. then we sat her down at a chair and did the song "Keep Holding On" for her. at the first line, she aldy cried (see the red eyes...) and we end up in hugs and we were glad she was ministered to. we were happy we managed to encourage her!! even though kel was not there .. which was a spoiler cos it was partially our peace offering for missing the flight thing... hehehhe... our one hour of practice paid off! as we managed to minister to the two person that's closest to the team!! yeah!
after the second dance (Dream Big), we came down from the stage, changed our clothes and head straight to the airport - only to realise that our flight was delayed! hahahaha.... how we wish it was retimed while we were late in kl but oh well... so some of us went to clean up our faces, ate some buns and then lepak while waiting for the flight and head back to KL! all of us slept in the flight of course!
Devo of the day:
but today's lesson - forgiveness is an everyday affair.
i don't think i'll ever be immune to offenses. hahaha... the more 'sook' the person is to you, the more likely he/she can hurt me or i'll get offended with them. just a fact of living where there are human.
chinese proverb say, "ng sook ng sik" - i think some times, the more familiar with the person we are, the more likely we are also able to forget to be courteous or to respect them! and today, it's one of those days where i was just smack by one of those remarks.
i was so tempted to sit the person down and have one of those "you are rude to your senior" chat but i pulled my reigns, told myself it's fasting season, all the more to forgive. but the other side of me is screaming to tell the person "showing attitude is plain rudeness! you should apologise, oh u rebellious child!! grow up can ah! still giving me the same excuse. who do u tink u r?"
keeping my mouth shut just in case i say the thing i shouldnt say now.
oh well. fasting. forgiveness. ahhhh!! die self! die self! carry the cross. last few days praying to be more godly this year. and so today need to act the part lah.
*btw, if u are thinking of commenting by giving me advice. please don't. not in the mood to take it. thanks! =p
